THE NEGATIVE FORM

To turn a sentence to the negative form, I have to add 

NE... PAS around the verb

N'....PAS around the verb that starts with a vowel (a,e,i,o,u). 

like "buns" around the "burger"

(like a sandwich around the verb)

Exercise 2: Turn these sentences to the negative form. First, find the verb, then add the "buns" around the "burger" IN A DIFFERENT COLOR. 

Some sentences have two verbs, you have to turn both into the negative form.

1. J'ai un frère. J'ai trente ans.
   Negative form: Je n'ai pas de frère. Je n'ai pas trente ans.
2. Laila a un stylo noir. Elle a un cartable rose.
   Negative form:
3. Sherif est grand. Il a cinq crayons rouges.
   Negative form:
4. Hussein est paresseux et Khaled est actif. Ils sont laids.
   Negative form:
5. Hala a quarante-trois ans et Ahmed a huit ans. Ils sont petits.

6. Inji a trois règles violettes. Elle est belle.
